Jill’s Consignment Policies
We are committed to selling only authentic designer labels. We authenticate every item before it is added to our online boutique. Every top label has its own identifying mark. When it comes to quality and workmanship, even the very best copies can't replicate the real thing. If we ever have even the slightest doubt about the authenticity of an item, we ask the consignor to provide an original receipt. We then go the extra step of verifying the information with the store. If the consignor can't provide an original receipt the merchandise is returned. We have been reselling Louis Vuitton and other designer labels since 1996 and are proud of our top-notch reputation. We value our commitment to you to sell only authentic designer labels. If a counterfeit bag is sent to us for consignment it is either sent back to the sender at his/her expense plus a $25 fee, or disposed of by Jill's Consignment PERIOD. We are recognized authenticators for PayPal, eBay, credit card companies and insurance claims. And although you won't need it, we offer an absolute, 100% refund policy for authenticity.
Jill’s Consignment accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Mail-In Checks, Money Orders and Wire Transfers.
Sales tax of 7% will be added to all items shipped within Florida. There is no sales tax for items shipped outside of Florida.
Jill's Consignment will not sell or release any information gathered by the site. All credit card transactions are processed through PayPal which does not give us access to credit card information.
If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it within 7 days of receipt. We will refund the purchase price of the item less a 2.5% restocking fee and original shipping costs. We will not issue a refund for items that are: not the original item we sent you, that are returned worn, damaged or for an item that is returned more than seven days after you receive it. By purchasing an item from our website, you agree that you have read our return policy, you agree with our return policy, and that you will abide by it. Before final checkout, you will be required to check the box stating you have read and accept our return policy.
We are consignment and resale of pre-owned, gently used designer handbags and jewelry. Unless listed as new or never carried, an item may have signs of previous use.
FREE shipping within the United States no matter how many items are in your order. Orders are shipped within 24 hours. Exceptions are holidays and weekends. All items will be fully insured when shipped. Purchases will only be shipped to the buyers confirmed/verified credit card billing address. We ship USPS Priority Mail. For oversized packages, we ship USPS Parcel Post.
- For our Canadian customers
Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail Express International for a flat rate of $35. Please note we only ship to confirmed addresses.
- For our United Kingdom customers
As long as your address is verified, we can ship to you in the United Kingdom. Shipping is a flat rate of $45 for Express Mail International and includes insurance.
- Worldwide shipping
We will ship to any other country in the world via bank wire transfer. Contact us to let us know which bag you would like to purchase and we will give you the details to wire funds from your bank directly to ours. As soon as the funds are transferred, your bag will ship via Express Mail International.
We update sold items manually and periodically throughout the day. If you purchase an item that is already sold out, we will notify you via email and refund your payment promptly. Please know that Jill's Consignment can get several orders for the same item, especially a new "hot" item that has just been added to the site. Unfortunately, because we are consignment, we only usually have one of each item. If you order an item that has already been sold, your payment will be promptly refunded. If you order multiple items and some of the items are not available, you of course will be promptly refunded for the items that are unavailable.
Layaway can be done on most items! Put 25% down, and take 90 days to pay it off. Please note that Paypal (our merchant credit card processor) does not have a system for merchants to offer layaway at this time. In order to place an item on layaway, all payments must be in the form of check, money order or bank wire. When we put an item on layaway, we take it off the floor and it becomes unavailable for anyone else to purchase. Please be sure before you place an item on layaway. If you cancel your layaway within the 90-day period, we retain 10% of the price of the item. The remaining payment will be refunded back to you. If you cancel your layaway or are unable to make payments after the 90-day layaway period, unless other arrangements are made, you will forfeit all payments. Layaway returns follow the same guidelines stated in the above return policy, but, will be charged a 25% restocking fee. To place an item on layaway, please contact us either by email or phone.
Another option is to trade in your bags for a new bag. Send us the bags you no longer use. We'll put the money for those bags toward the layaway payment for the bag you wish to purchase. You can either pay the remaining or send more bags until the layaway is paid in full. A great way to get a new bag!
We will discount any item (other than layaways), by 3% if you pay by check, money order or direct bank wire. We pass our savings directly on to you. Please let us know by email or phone if you would like to purchase an item this way so that we can place it on hold for you, and provide you with the needed information if doing a bank wire.
